Ironic, isn't it? Some of the most racist people I have ever encountered have been OUT of the deep south. I remember once upon a time that a real estate agent in Spokane, Washington who grew up in England, upon hearing that we were from Louisiana, proceded to go into a racial tyrade about black people that would have made even the most ardent member of the KKK blush!!
