Yet nobody seems to really care about this. I mean, why should we? But oh! I heard that Barack Obama called Sarah Palin a pig-- can we please get worked up about that!?

I am not an Obama supporter, but he wasn't calling her a pig. The expression "Putting lipstick on a pig" or "Teaching a pig to whistle" are sayings that have been around for years. I don't think that Palin, herself, thought that it was a big deal, but you know how the mainstream media like to blow things out of proportion. It's kind of like the "Troopergate"
B.S., which the media grabbed and ran with. They're pretty much ending up with egg on their face on that issue. Did you get your computer problem solved? Ever get to talk to a Techie?
Later.
I know he wasn't calling her a pig. Even John McCain and Sarah Palin admitted that they knew that. The chattering heads on TV just needed something vapid to get worked up about. Sigh.
As for the computer problems, they eventually worked themselves out once AT&T got their network back online four days later. All that time waiting on the phone didn't do much good. :/
