March 7, 2009: "Love and Marriage"

Wow. I forgot just how long it takes to color something like this. Thus the obvious 6-hour delay from my morning deadline. Sorry 'bout that.

Hey dude,

You've been to Panama! Cool! Remember our debate on Iran?? What do you think about what's going on there now? Do you think it's about what happened in the 1950's? You know, when the evil CIA put the Shah in power. The Iranian goverment is killing protesters in the streets. Instead of just shooting them, don't you think they should be stoned? You know, like they stone women that get out of line. Women that get raped by five or six guys. Women whom the court decides didn't resist hard enough while the guys were raping them. GOD IS GREAT!!!!!!
The opposition may not be much better than the idiots that are in power, but you gotta admit...they've got balls. What do you think about Obama's response to this crisis or lack thereof?? Oh, and by the way, where's Ian? Haven't seen him on here in while. Haven't seen much of anyone on here in a while. You gotta love me. I create controversy. When guys like me post, you actually get some comments. Go for it Grabbag fans!!! Take me to task.

I'm certainly willing to forgive the lateness of the strip. You certainly know how to make a muted pallette sing! If you have the time or inclination, this would make a cool framed print for the lovely couple...

Man - you have no idea how much it means to us, to have had our own official cartoonist documenting our wedding. Chuck, seriously, thank you.
